School Enrichment

CSU Extension and Middle Park 4-H offer opportunities for schools to enrich their curriculum at little to no cost. For these programs, we either come into the classroom and do the activities with the class, or we can send a kit for teachers to do the activities themselves. Some examples of popular programs are: Embryology, Hairy Heads, Bug Breakthrough, and Pickwick Planting. For more information on what we have to offer call (970) 724-3436.

Summer Day Camp Programing

In addition to school enrichment, CSU Extension and Middle Park 4-H offer many special events, including a summer day camp series featuring fun activities. This can include cake decorating, fishing, ceramics, outdoor adventure, sewing, swim lessons, and much more.

2021 Summer Day Camps

Summer Camp 2021 Registration is here!  We will be hosting camp here at the Extension Hall on the Wednesdays through July 21st.

The Summer Camp 2021 program is all about Community.  We are going to work side by side with the people who are doing amazing work here in Kremmling.  This will not be a summer of listening to folks talk about what they do.  This is a summer of  doing what they do!

In the morning we will be leaving the property to visit the places where our community experts do their work.  We may find ourselves leading pack llamas on the trails, taking surveys with our BLM friends, getting our hands dirty with the gardeners and of course, visiting our special Ammonite fossil site.  We will eat our lunches while we are out and about, or back at the Extension hall before our 12:30pm half day pick up time.

Afternoons will take place on the Fairgrounds where we will be visited by even more community members who will be sharing there skills and passions with us.  Most of these activities will be adaptations of  real 4-H project offerings.  It will be a fun introduction to project options in future years.

Parents/guardians will be responsible for providing a morning snack and full lunch for your child.  Please remember to pack a water bottle   Afternoon snack will be provided by us here at the extension hall

This year there are a few changes.  In order to make sure the staff have time to set up and put away materials, our drop off will be at 8:30am and pick up at 4:30pm.  Please be prompt with your timing.
